Playdough

Colorful Playdough

1 cup plain flour
1 cup water
1/2 cup salt
1 tablespoon cream of tartar
(you can omit it if you can not find it)
1 tablespoon of cooking oil
Food colouring or powder paints

With a wooden spoon, mix together everything except oil and colourings in a saucepan over a medium heat until thick. When it has cooled, add the oil and knead well on a floured board. Divide the dough into balls and add a different colour to each ball.

Using same recipe you can make textured playdough by adding sand, rice, confetti, lentils, dry beans, glitter, small leaves etc

It can be kept in fridge in the plastic bag for about a week.

Edible Playdough

Peanut paste
Milk powder
Sugar
Edible food colouring

Simple mix one part of peanut paste to one part of milk powder and half part of sugar and add some food colouring if desired.

I believe it can not be kept for a long time:)

Goop

Cornflour
Water
Food colouring

Simple add water and food colouring to cornflour until it is desired consistency. When the children have finished playing, put the goop in plastic container with a lid. The goop will dry out but it can be restored to its goop consistency by simple adding some water.
